SAF One Announces Appointment of Samik Mukherjee to its Board of Directors
Dubai. United Arab Emirates 19th February 2025- SAF One Energy Management Limited (“SAF One”), today announced the appointment of Samik Mukherjee to its Board of Directors, effective 1st February 2025. Samik brings over 30 years of extensive experience in energy infrastructure development, process technology, large-scale project execution, and global operations management to the Board. Samik will be actively involved in the company’s governance and assurance framework, as SAF One embarks on its mission to build and operate a portfolio of SAF plants globally.
Samik previously served as the President at Tellurian, located in Houston USA, where he led the development of critical energy infrastructure including natural gas transportation and LNG processing facilities covering EPC (engineering, procurement, construction), permitting, HSES and LNG operations. Prior to joining Tellurian, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at McDermott International, Ltd., where he led global operations with nearly $8.0 billion in revenue with over 30,000 personnel, driving execution of major infrastructure projects globally, managing a worldwide assets network of engineering offices, manufacturing yards and fleet of subsea marine construction vessels and leading technology and cryogenic storage business units.
Samik brings to the table, significant experience in onshore and offshore process technologies, full life-cycle project execution from concept to operations, sustainable energy initiatives and organization transformation.

Samik holds a master’s degree in business administration from the Rotterdam School of Management (RSM) at Erasmus University in the Netherlands and a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, India. He completed the Harvard Business School Executive Program on Aligning and Executing Strategy.
